As a medium scale farmer my know-how and depth of network has increased with every other Annual Agricultural Policy Conference (AAPC). I have also observed that the content of AAPC is increasingly getting richer and pertinent.

Progress always happens when sectoral players partake in informed dialogues and consolidate their best practices towards the accomplishment of a clearly defined goal. The ongoing reforms and successes in the agriculture sector are a testament to the power of partnerships.

The PAG has proven to be a successful multi sectoral partnership. Over the last 5 years we have successfully reduced duplication of effort in the sector, promoted synergy and collaboration, harmonized policy messaging and in turn, our efforts have accelerated policy reforms for agricultural transformation.

The PAG has proven to be a great tool to coordinate various efforts by our Agricultural members from the private sector. The partnership has created a fora for dialogues that have contributed much to the reforms that are happening in the agricultural sector.
