Policy Institutional Architecture Assessment (IAA)
- Policy predictability and coherence are essential to driving resilient, inclusive, and sustainable agriculture and food systems.
- Two IAA studies were carried out in Tanzania by ASPIRES/Sera Bora project in collaboration with Feed the Future PolicyLink project; first in Oct/Nov 2020 (baseline) and Oct/Nov 2024 where over 200 stakeholders were interviewed to asses their opinion on the progress and quality of Tanzania’s policy reform processes.
- Institutional Architecture Assessment (IAA) by USAID recognizes 6 essential elements for policy reforms based on international best practices:
