Augustine has extensive experience as an agribusiness specialist and private sector advisor on business environment and agricultural reforms. He worked at the Accelerated African Agro-Industry and Agribusiness Development Initiative (3ADI) under the United Nations Industrial Development Organization (UNIDO) focused on industrialization and SMEs investments in livestock-red meat, leather, and cashew nut value chains. From 2006 to 2010 he served as an agricultural tutor at the Ministry of Agriculture. He holds a Master’s degree in Business Administration–Agribusiness and a Bachelor of Science in Agriculture from the Sokoine University of Agriculture with a clear sight of Tanzania’s policies regarding the interconnections and interactions between the private sector, industrialization, and agricultural transformation in Tanzania.
