Gloria oversees all fiscal and fiduciary responsibilities of the organization. In her role, she ensures that ASPIRES NGO has strong financial and accounting systems in place in order to provide transparency, internal control, accountability, and efficiency in all financial transactions of the organization. Gloria brings to ASPIRES 26 years of experience in the financial management of international non-profit organizations. She has extensive experience in compliance with various Governmental regulations and also in the implementation of sound accounting practices and high financial standards, both in the field and at the office level. She comes to ASPIRES from the University Research Co, LLC in Dar es Salaam, Tanzania, where she served as Senior Finance and Administrative Manager for over five years. She has managed annual budgets of over $6 million per year and monitored approximately forty projects in several locations. Other prior experience includes serving as Finance Manager at RTI International where she managed a budget of $132 million for 5 years.
