Christine Sauer is a Graduate Research Assistant at the Department of Agriculture, Food, and Resource Economics, Michigan State University. She is currently researching patterns and determinants of vegetable and fruit consumption in Tanzania. Working with colleagues in the USAID Sera Bora project. Apart from that, she is also researching rural penetration of processed food in Tanzania together with colleagues at the Sokoine University of Agriculture in Morogoro. She has also analyzed the impact of various legume technologies, including cereal-legume intercropping and rotation, on household food and nutrition security in Zambia. Ms. Sauer is currently pursuing a Doctor of Philosophy, Michigan State University, East Lansing, MI.
